Looking at screenshots of the movie, it all looks fairly normal to me, and not something that would really be up for an award like that. Can anyone say what part of the film has the makeup and hair styles?
shareThe main character Ove, played by Rolf Lassgård, is the highlight of the makeup through the entire film. Even though ironically Lassgård was 59 years old at the time during filming, which was also the exact age of the character Ove, I guess they needed him to look older. If you search Rolf Lassgård on google, you can see that he looks kinda younger than what he portrayed in the film.
If you haven't seen the movie yet, I advise you to watch it.
Well, I was bothered by his wig for the whole movie time. The upper part of his head was looking quite unnatural. The first thing I did after finishing the movie was to check how the main actor looks like to confirm that he was heavily aged and "wigged". So yeah.. it's surprising for me too.
