Good Movie Except For One Horrible Scene (spoiler)

SPOILER

About 20 young soldiers are protecting an electric power
station in Bulgaria. Their general is involved in an
evil plot, but they know nothing of it. They're good
people, and they've set up a surprise birthday party
for one of the soldiers, They're all in a room,
standing around a table with birthday cakes.

One of the "good guys" in the movie has been desperately
wanting to shoot somebody. This has been made very clear
-- he's a psychopath. He bursts into the room and murders
all 20 young soldiers with his machine gun. It's horrible.

At the end of the movie, the four good guys eat the
birthday cake.

This ruined for me what was otherwise an entertaining movie.
Don't the writer and director have any human feelings?

Loved it!...started laughing cause when Kevin Dillion came in the room,I knew he was gonna shoot all of them...and them eating the cake at the end(and enjoying it)...awesome.

I, too, loved that he killed them all, and they ate the cake in the end. It was pretty funny.
