The show was DOA and is now officially dead. Terriers was cancelled because it bore the unique distinction of being the least watched, lowest rated show on any legacy or cable network ever at the time. And they tried a variety of techniques to boost ratings, to no avail.
BTW, to the other person still posting here and bumping her petition back up: 2K signatures is nothing. The show failed, move on

Are you a Sony executive? They haven't given up finding it a new network that will give it the support it deserved, unlike NBC, who has all their eggs in the "Aquarius" basket...and when you compare viewer numbers...Game Of Silence wins with .71 demo/3.33M viewers VS .53 demo/2.79M viewers in first season comparison. Curious huh?
