Campy?

This movie felt a bit OTT, no? I mean, it took some pretty bizarre turns. Not so much that any of the characters' actions were out of the ordinary, but the tone was like some paranoid horror film at time and the director wasn't afraid to crank it up to eleven it seemed.

I mean, I get that the modelin industry is not exactly a healthy and nurturing environment, but am I alone in finding this film kind of hysterical (and weirdly hilarious when it shoehorns in kidnapping subplots out of nowhere?), tonally?
