I thought I was watching Neon Demon
jajaja but Palma is more beautiful than Fanning that's right. Palma has more potential. hope to see her in more movies.
shareI totally agree with you! Actually I was thinking that Neon Demon is kind of an animé tale about modelling, I mean it's exagerate, colourful, and hard to buy. In the other hand you have this film. You can relate to the characters, the story plot is real, the feelings are there. Cartoon vs. reality, I dare to say.
And yes, Maria Palm is beautiful and a nice actress, so this time Elle Fanning loses at every level. ☺

share^^^ Exactly. TND is very cynical (Which I loved), every scene is layered with subtext of sexuality in disturbing ways, much of which had to do with minors. Prostitution, Sex and it's direct relationship with Violence... How we as consumers view this and readily accept it... It's just a dark film. The Model is a solid film but it's lacking the overall Pessimism but also the underlying REALISM of Refn and his work. Because while TND is full of stylish filmmaking, it brings to light some very real and perverted ways of Hollywood.
