Hopefully my Title Subject will spark response. This Doc is one of the most humanistic sincere look at a modern outcast Society of peoples ever made. There are now millions of Sex Offenders in America. From horrible Child Abusers to young adult men that had underage girlfriends in High School. Florida has decided to lump together the most violent and the non-violent to hang them all out to dry. Thousands are roaming the streets homeless with no chance of employment. Would you hire a Sex Offender? Labeled Monsters and Uncurable by Ultra Conservative Politicians new insane and crazy Laws are being created everyday in Florida as the Sex Crime Laws in Florida are Regularity Laws so local Cities can make up their Ordinances such as a Sex Offender is not allowed to pick up their Child from School. A Sex Offender cannot live within a 1000 feet of a school, daycare center or playground. A sex offender cannot live anywhere in Florida without reporting their address, vehicle registration and the new laws of reporting all Internet Activity. This is all regardless of the severity of the crime. Children are being tried as Adults and being thrown in Prison for 1 image of child porn that the police are inticing Instant Messaging users with stings. Imagine your son or daughter in Jail for 10 years for having a drinking and sexual contact party. Its true Florida leads in these Unconstitional Laws. "Pervert Park" begins this conversation into the subject nobody wants to talk about. As a Doc Filmmaker and Florida resident, I will be a activist of this issue and continue a fight for Reformation of Sex Offender Laws in America for non-violent low tiered so-called sex crimes. Violence and Vigilante Groups as well as misinformed Media Hysteria has contributed to a -Perversion of Justice- creating more crimes than preventing them.

"Very True! Its important to understand that Registries and SO Laws do nothing to prevent recidivism and what is really happening is to create a "Witch Hunt" to lump together Violent and Non-Violent RSO's as to make them the Monsters of Society. Reform is slow but there is a awakening that these laws started from Megan's Law which is horribly outdated and needs major revision.

This was hard to watch. Sure, they cherry-picked the subjects. Like all docs. Were they all telling the truth? Their versions. Were they lying? They may not know if they were. I felt for these modern-day lepers. I would mourn for their victims, too. It's OK to see both sides of the horror. And yes, I believe they were mostly victims themselves, as children. They created victims, and are now victims once again. Should they know better? Sure. But the brain is a complex thing. I eat too much. Some still smoke, or shoot drugs. Or treat their pets and family poorly. It's not the same as abusing a child, but we are all drawn to the fire, in some respects. And sometimes get too close.
The whole park reminded me of a Russian gulag. Like the show on heroin use, I was glad I watched this. And horrified!

Fwiw, the directors spent a lot of time making sure the crimes that were talked about were accurate by confirming them with the counselor and via other means. It was their intention not to minimize the crimes, while at the same time attaching a personal story to them.

Just watched this...good lord! I don't think Ive ever seen anything more humanily repulsive frightening and twisted that was so sincere and agendaless in its narrative. Its crazy because its like this place is the hell they have been banished to and this filmmaker showed up at the exact moment where one of the doc's seemingly sweetest and mild mannered two subject confesses to two of the most horrific things i have ever heard fact or fiction...its like they have been dying to confess...insanely hard to watch but good lord this is some brave new stuff

Read up a LOT about it online, right down to YouTube, and even watched the movie, ONLINE, and there's ay least another,some one said, and I saw another doc on the topic, by someone named Terry...

Maybe they could be executed en masse with dangerous animals (I'm thinkin' poisonous ones like snakes or scorpions, tied to a chair)..or, radical though, here, hope tha tthey asll fit back in society..admire that they have a place to be normal, get Hostell twinkies, eat McDonald's..(in the park), watch movies (American GIrls-based on the Pleasant Press books about historical pre teen girls, by authors Valerie Tripp and others.. any take on Little WOmen..) Marry Poppins RTeturns, Gifted, hey, what type of films do they watch..another subject..
