It's great way to learn a little about an area and culture! Jack Maxwell has the right balance of charm and substance. A very good, enjoyable show!

Agree. I really like the host. I don't even drink, but like using beer/wine/liqueur when cooking, so I was kind of skeptical about this show... I love it. Mangolia was very interesting.

Exact same sentiments here. Not a drinker myself either & when I saw promos for the show I thought...dumb idea & not for mw.

However...Not so...Maxwell is a great host and I love his sense humor. You learn about the world, and the booze is actually a small part of the show, its more a Segway to explore other cultures. Very well done show.

You hit the nail on the head. The show isnt all about booze. I like how they let the locals show the viewer why they're proud of their home.

I like the show too and like Jack as the host. Definitely a great host who doesn't come across as condescending or overly pretentious.

It was renewed for season 2.
