Anyone know who played him? He's not in the credits.
shareWhitey didn't have a speaking part did he? If not, he could have been played by an extra, or somebody on the crew. It would have been simpler and cheaper to do so, than to hire a SAG actor for such a cameo part.

He actually did have a few lines. Sometimes a known actor will take a part w/o credit. He looked a lot like Jason Isaacs.
