I picked this movie up on a whim, being a sucker for indie fantasy and sci-fi. What a good movie! It was very well acted, well written and a whole lotta fun. I'm not a big Arthur legend fan so I almost passed it by just for that, but its a very different take on the Arthur stories and is a great fantasy film and story on its own. Way fun!

shareI have to agree.. the story was simple and fairly run of the mill fantasy.. but the way the characters were developed was very cool.. I loved them and all their interactions. And, yes, I think the title is actually a bit misleading.. I was expecting the usual arthur, merlin, excaliber story.. but was pleasantly surprised.
