Could the fake snow have been any faker? Come on, Hallmark, I love the movies but spend some money on the production. Don't film Christmas movies in the middle of summer.

shareIt's probably too cold to film them in the winter. :) Plus, it takes several months to film and put out the film - hence filming in summer.

they always do....and they've always been...not just hallmark...but, that movie with jimmy stewart, name escapes me right now....was done in july...so.....
they won't stop...as much as we want them to....
and I think that the reason for it, is that hey it might snow.......look at buffalo a few weeks ago...that jimmy stewart movie was filmed near buffalo and they got what like 200 cm's of snow, what would have happened to them if they were filming a movie there in novem/December......and they are in the snow belt.....

"...that movie with Jimmy Stewart" is "It's A Wonderful Life". {sad}
sharelol Just a little flick.
shareZuzu Bailey: "Look, Daddy. Teacher says, every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings."
George Bailey: "That's right, that's right."
George Bailey: [Looks heavenward] "Attaboy, Clarence."
Can you fly this plane?
Surely u cant be serious
I am serious,and dont call me Shirley
Technically IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE was NOT a TV movie, so the effects level were not same as these movies.
shareThey film in studios for the most part though, not on location. The time of year is most likely not the issue.
shareAm I the only one who noticed the snow under the "hotdog eating" bench never melted or changed?
shareIn the final hot dog eating scene before the party , I swear it looked like draped white felt.
