Do BJJ classes teach you about this? [spoilers]

How to deal with multiple assailants with weapons who are standing on level ground outside waiting for you while you're struggling to crawl out of a basement window?

I wish my wife would take BJ classes...

What's going on? What's all this shouting? We'll have no trouble here...

I mean, if we're both gonna benefit, I don't see why we shouldn't at least split the cost...

This thread is weird.

I actually thought it was funny/dumb when he put that big guy back in the armbar again randomly. I do BJJ every so often with friends and used to take classes.

On a semi-related note, the Jiujitsu in this movie was silly. They meant well, but the way he crosses his ankles during the armbar is a whitebelt mistake, the guy could have easily just rolled on top of him, he wasn't really being held down. You're not supposed to cross your ankles in that position, it takes all the pressure off.

Also, the choke looked horrible. Terrible form, wouldn't even have incapacitated the guy at all, much less put him to sleep. Also people don't start spitting out what they had for lunch while in that kind of choke the way he did, it's not that kind of choke. It's a clean blood choke that attacks the arteries, it does not really affect the airway.

Still enjoyed the movie, they just could have had an expert on set if they were going to be so specific about Jiujitsu.

Sorry for the BJJ nerd rant :-)
