Mickey or Heidi?

Who would you choose?

reply

heidi. she seems more friendly

reply

Yes, she seems more friendly. Although, I think that could be more like a facade, very much like Mickey's acting like a bitch could be a sort of shield to avoid being hurt. IMO, the way Heidi acted when she and Gus "broke up" showed that. Although, that could've been because she had been recently fired and Gus was being a jerk too, so I don't know. Sigh, women are complicated.

reply

I got the feeling that Heidi was fake. Then later after she was killed off the show she wanted nothing to do with Gus, so yeah.

Mickey is gorgeous but a total train wreck. I've dated that type before and it's exhausting. It was just so emotionally draining.

Assuming I'm Gus & had a job on a TV show I'd take Heidi as long as she was still on the show, lol. I guess I'd rather get used by the sane person than struggle with the crazy.

reply

upon watching the entire thing. I would say mickey. that heidi lady was way meaner than mickey

reply

Based on what? Her behavior upon learning she'd just been fired from the show, right after buying a house and turning down another gig? People lash out when blindsided with devastating news. I don't see how you'd hold that against her, and dismiss the constant untriggered bad behavior everyone around Mickey was forced to endure.

reply

yup. crazy ladies

People lash out when blindsided with devastating news.

That was more than just lashing out at Gus. That was a "I want nothing to do with you b/c you are no longer useful to me".

I'm not defending Mickey. I actually picked Heidi in my post. I've dated a "Mickey". It's exhausting. Too old to put up with that kind of crazy again.

But Heidi was not a great person.

And who buys a house when you have no idea how long you're going to be on a show?

reply

I agree. I also got the vibe from her that he is not useful to her anymore. But also I understand her being upset being sacked from the job, and Gus really was behaving like an idiot.

So yeah, Heidi seemed nice at first but turned out to be fake nice, like Gus.

I prefer Mickey, she is messed up but she is fun. I love her as a character, not sure if I would date her. She is hot though and love her style.

But in the end it all turned out great between her and Gus so I guess she wasn’t that bad to be with.

reply

Ideally neither, Heidi is fake as hell and super self-centered and Mickey is incredibly bratty, unfiltered, and has WAY too many issues.
But if I had to pick though, probably Mickey because Heidi is just too fake

reply

Mickey. She had a lot of problems, but narcissistic personality disorder wasn't one of them.

In my experience, when/if an addict is able to work through their issues, they're very smart, empathetic people. A narcissist will never truly be able to care about anyone but themselves.

I've met a lot of Mickey's and a lot of Heidi's in my life, and the latter are the only ones I find unbearable.

reply

Heidi. She just turned into a bitch because he tried to make the situation about him when she just got fired and he still had a job and he kind of admitted putting her name in to get killed off. Heidi would have been so much better.

Mickey

Heidi gave him a bj in the sound studio
Micki had to get herself off with her vibrator after they had sex

Heidi

reply

Mickey, even if she's a mess she's real to me Heidi seemed fake.

I'd choose Mickey because I'm an idiot that likes to fix people.
Obviously that's a terrible decision and I'd regret it later... but chances are that'd be my very poor decision if I were to make it.

reply

So right. I'd pick Mickey too because my (flawed) thinking would be I could fix the hot, skinny emotional girl and mold her into something better, then fail miserably.

reply

Oh, wow! And I always thought just women want to change and fix a guy. Because when it us mentioned it is always how women are untealistic and always want to fix their men. I guess it is just a stereotype.
