Drives the Libs nuts? I gotta see this movie!

I enjoy action movies, but I usually don't bother watching the ones I've never heard of. However, when I read the reviews by obvious Libs and other anti-Americans spewing venom, wailing, and gnashing their teeth, this got me really curious. What would drive them so nuts that their inner-child would lose control, stomp its feet, and wet itself? I've got to find out! I know that anything patriotic is like kryptonite to these people, but when they foam at the mouth attacking it with such frenzy, this is all the advertising this movie needs to make a tidy profit. I'll probably watch it a second time just to take notes. 

Just in all fairness, I lean a bit liberal but chances are good I will be voting Trump this election. With that said this movie is awful, the premises is actually okay, but the movie itself just have very poor writing and direction.

I'm a bit of a survivalist/prepper/gun nut, and the movie really just plays down to the lowest denominator of the government conspiracy crowd. It is not original or thought provoking in any way. The central message is our military is being controlled by a shadow government and they are being trained to lock up law abiding Americans and take away your guns all in the hope of destabilizing the world to create a NWO.

Even if you are a person that is into this theory of a shadow government I'm not sure this would be enjoyable. The attempt in this move to portray it is quite poor. I don't want to give much of the movie away because hey it is your right to watch the movie and I don't want it spoiled for you.

I just don't think this is the movie you hope it will be and I do not think libs are up in arms over it for any other reason then it is just a bad movie. I was hoping for so much more I wanted to see how the population would react, I wanted the story to have some mystery to it, but instead it just kind of plods along like a drunken man at the bar bitching about the government as everyone ignores him because his ramblings make no damn sense.

Also I do not find this movie to be patriotic, I think it is actually a bit degrading to our military and the people who have served this country over the years. I say this because I find the "villains" in this movie to be so weak. To think our military would let this plot unfold would be ridiculous in my mind.

Let me know what you think after you watch it. I'm very curious to see if you found it as lacking as I did.

I think you've pointed out a common problem in a lot of these right-wing propaganda films. Not just this latest thing targeting survivalists but the political and religious ones. It's all kind of cheap and reaffirming. It doesn't sway anybody outside of the lowest common denominator because it's so frothing at the mouth obsessed with the message that they don't bother to do any research or acknowledge that life and politics have some grey areas.

I'm glad you said that, because press releases for these kind of movies and movies like Dinesh D'Souza's always urge fans to show them to people with differing viewpoints because it will supposedly "wake them up". Yet when does that EVER happen? These are the kind of films that deny the most vehemently that they are preaching to the choir, but like you said, all they do is reaffirm what their audiences already believe. Oops, excuse me, I mean "know".

I'm something of a libertarian-ish leftist, and I can very safely say this movie is the single most hilarious thing I have ever laid eyes on.
