I'm really glad the writers decided to show Bart and Cindy comsumate their passion. But! I hope it's not a fleeting thing. Like a hit it and quit it situation. I say this because both characters truly want to be loved and are drawn together despite horrible circumstances like Chris and Cathy. I'm glad VC wrote the relationship like she did. It was have been too overwhelming to see Bart and Cindy physically "together" in the book, but she did a good job setting the tone. She was a great writer!
