'Do You Believe' They Made Another Terrible Film.

I just don't get why the movie industry is making all of these religion based movies. Do they think that the world is ending soon? I have seen this and it's better than the first attempt this company made to sway my views about organized religions, but I fell asleep after about 20 minutes. Church attendance is at an all time low, frankly I think it's their own fault. Most have become very judgemental and have bias opinions about what they consider a sin. They have basically turned individuals off to their archaic ways of preaching, mostly through hatred or using doomsday scare tactics to keep you active in the church.

Well, "the movie industry" isn't making these. One production company is. They're doing it because they found there's money to be had by pandering to this demographic.

As for church attendance and such, I'd say overall religious people and institutions are getting less judgemental, but the ones who still are are getting even more so. Those clinging to their religion are getting more and more defensive as more and more people move away from it, so they lash out.

Is it that hard to see? The movies are financially successful, so of course they'll make more.

I don't think that's what they are attempting to do. They are just appealing to those who already believe.

Please stop.

In July 2015, New York had a Christian Festival with 60,000 Christians attending! Doesn't sound like low to me. I love Jesus Christ. Scare tactics like "you will go to Hell if you don't get saved." All of us are sinners, there is NO ONE without sin and that is why we NEED Jesus in our lives. God says to his chosen ones: to show love to everyone so I try to, even for those that don't believe. I believe, these Christian movies are for Believers of God/Jesus and for people that are keeping an open mind. It's pretty obvious that people that don't want to hear the good news of God or don't want to see a movie about God, have no business buying a ticket to see this film.

For the record, I don't pay to see Hollywood Studios movies like "Noah" because they throw in silly stuff like rock people that is NOT in the bible.
God promises to provide for all my needs and He has. Others are finding out the same thing I did. Thus switching from a struggling life to a comfortable life where God protects, comforts, blesses and works in everything for the good.
