The Jewish writers who profited from the film certainly are not dumb.😂

No, they're geniuses. More power to them if they can get idiots to come see this stuff in droves.

It's at $14 million now and still being shown in my city. You atheists can crawl back into vampire caskets. Get lost.

Are you still here whining about a pro-Christian film that we all knew you'd hate since you're an atheist?

I'm thinking you're 12.

reply

This is one of the top grossing Christian films of all-time. Congrats to the filmmakers.

Gods Not Dead made over $60 million, but this film will make around $17 million (gross) when everything is said and done. And I see those kind of profit margins as success, regardless of atheist tummy aches.

reply

Should make it to $20 million with DVD sales, etc.

And another Christian film is on the way as well.

reply

Profits don't directly reflect the quality of a film. If they did, Transformers: Age of Extinction would be a masterpiece.

reply

Quality is each individuals personal opinion. If this film was anywhere near as poor as the exaggerationists claimed, it wouldn't have gotten past the $1 million dollar mark.

I enjoyed the Transformer films and the Twilight films. So did lots of people. Just because you hated it, is an individual's opinion.

reply

You know what? You're right.
What most surprises me is how it's making money. Do You Believe? seems like the kind of film that would make a killing on home video, but, for some reason, it did quite well at the box-office.

Why do you have so much mindless contempt for it?

Have you seen the Now Playing Theater Christian Movie called "War Room" Directed by Alex Kendrick, and Christian Writers: Alex Kendrick, Stephen Kendrick? Opening Weekend: $11,351,389 (USA) (28 August 2015)and Gross: $65,400,751 (USA) (16 October 2015), "War Room" has lasted 8 weeks and it's still playing at the Theaters. I wondering why "Do You Believe" didn't make as much. If my memory serves me right, they both cost the same to make but "Do You Believe" was produced by Pure Flix. I heard of another Theater Christian movie called "WOODLAWN" (Released Date: October 16, 2015) a movie about:

"A gifted high school football player must learn to boldly embrace his talent and his faith as he battles racial tensions on and off the field in WOODLAWN, a moving and inspirational new film based on the true story of how love and unity overcame hate and division in early 1970s Birmingham, Ala."

Woodlawn received 89% on Rotten Tomatoes site. I do not like football so I wasn't going to pay a ticket to see this Christian football movie, but I'm debating to go see it after all.

What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. 1 Corinthians 5:12-13

Another (probably) crappy movie did good at the B.O. What else is new?
