Are they playing episodes out of order?

Chloe's thing with Pierce makes no sense when she seems to know Lucifer cares about her, and she cares about him. His promises re-creation comes to mind.

I'm not a fan of relationships in TV shows, but her behavior just seems a little childish. She's back and forth with who she likes. Like a middle schooler.

agreed. seems a bit off.

Initially, I really enjoyed the series... Lucifer's self-centred, irritating attitude and over the top one liners were fun to watch , not to speak of his banters with Chloe but by the end of season two Lucifer and Chloe "relationship " had become somewhat tedious to follower.

Let's be honest .... it was obvious ,even to a blind person ,that they were in love yet they were still not ready to make a commitment and be a couple.

I understand the writers goal was to make the series , which definitely has a notable fan base, go a couple of seasons more but I personally think the initial spark was not there anymore by the beginning of the third season and that's when I stopped watching.

I also found very annoying and unlikable the forensic scientist .

Problem with the show is they threw in too many characters trying to get more audience. Original show had Lucifer, Chloe, as the main characters and 5 sub characters... that was plenty for a 1 hour show but then they ad in Helfer to try and get more scify viewers... It didn't work it only took away story time... Then they throw in the CSI girl and Kane, again to try and get more viewers and all they have done is taken away even more time for the others. Sorry but a 1 hour show can't handle a Game of Thones size cast. If they don't trim the cast they might as well write the ending now because no one wants to watch a show that short changes every characters time which is what they are doing now.

But Game of Thrones IS a 1 hour show....You mean unless the 1 hour show is a show other than Game of Thrones?

Sorry, I couldn't resist! I do agree with you about the cast though. They definitely added too many characters, and also fell victim to what I like to call the "Abby Factor". It seems every show nowadays needs a kooky, annoying, immature, unlikable CSI tech like Abby from NCIS.....It's been done to death.

The one hour Game of Thrones is actually 1 hour... Lucifer is a 1 hour commercial TV show which means you get closer to 40 minutes of actual story time. That 20 minutes extra in Game of Thrones is why they are able to get more characters in and even there you sometimes get a little short changing of characters going on as well.

I like most of the characters, and the cast is great. It makes for a lot of fun and funny interaction. It did seem odd that Chloe fell for Pierce so quickly, but he was good-looking and muscular, and it seemed like he was the reliable type, which Lucifer was not.

OK, but to marry him in what must have only been weeks? Especially with a kid?

I had the impression that maybe she was hoping to galvanize Lucifer into telling her how he felt. He got her to come to his place on a pretext, but prepared a romantic dinner to show how he could treat her better than Pierce, but he held back saying what he really felt. She said something to the effect: "if not Pierce, then who?" When he didn't offer himself for a relationship, she said, "You can't have it both ways, Lucifer."

In other words, he didn't want her to be with Pierce, but he wasn't stepping up either.

They all aired in the proper order when a new episode was shown... but there were several times where a new episode didn't air and they had a rerun. A lot of shows are doing this.

I just check the schedule to make sure it is a new episode before I watch it... without checking a schedule, it isn't really clear if it is going to be a new show or a repeat. When they advertise it on the day it airs, they will say it is a new or 'all new' episode... if they don't say that, then it is a repeat.

It isn't like the old days where reruns only ran in-between seasons... now they are sticking reruns in between new episodes on various weeks... it makes no sense all.

I was only speaking of new episodes, and whether or not they aired in the order in which they were filmed. Chloe was interested in Pierce, then she wasn't, then was, then wasn't, then was interested in Lucifer and then was marrying Pierce. The progression was nonsensical and way too abrupt.

Not to mention those 2 bonus episodes that aired after the finale. They came before the finale as far as the story goes, though I have no clue where they would have fit. They were just odd.

They did show episodes out of order, Fox does that a lot. They took episodes from s2 and put them in s3.
