The way he took that bullet for Chloe, and then the apparent shock he had that he'd been shot makes me think she has that affect on all/some angels' inability to be harmed.
Also where has Amenadiel, Maz and Trixie been these last few episodes?
Apparently they are showing episodes out of order which is screwing with the series timeline. Not sure about Maze and Trixie.

I would chalk up the lack of Amenadiel, Maze ands Trixie to budget stipulation. This season has more episodes than previous seasons and the ratings went down big time from S1 to S2. That combination probably made the budget for each episode smaller.
Apparently the first 4 episodes were originally filmed and meant to be included with season 2 but someone, somewhere, altered that and shortened it to end when it did. That's why there are more episodes this time around.
If they are showing the episodes out of order (The Las Vegas shooting might have influenced that) I hope they tell us the proper order at the end of the season as it isn't flowing as easily as I had hoped.

That particular revelation caught me by surprise. If I had a Who is the Sinnerman office pool, I wouldn't have assigned a box to Cain. Everyone would have lost and blamed me.
shareI wouldn't have guessed Cain either. I know that all angels know each other and so figured he was some kind of new/secret creation of God's but the Cain thing makes sense even though it wasn't apparent to me originally.
