Any word on when--or if--a second season will be made?

After reading Tweekums' excellent review, I think I better wait before watching season 1. Some people like (or do not mind) series and films that have cliff hanger or ambiguous endings, but I do not.

Yes, there will be a second season. In June HBO Poland announced that they are getting ready to shoot it, but there is no word on when it is going to air.

Update: in the new HBO advert it now says "Wahata: new season - soon" :) No idea when English subtitles will be available though.

That sounds as if the season has been shot, but HBO has not decided the best time to air it. I do expect a delay, though, unfortunately, until English subtitles are available--unless HBO wants a UK showing about the same time as the Polish.
