the thing i hate the most is that it makes me hate the actress' face lol. i hope she gets a role as a hero that i can watch and change my feeling
Sometimes that doesn't really help, does it?, I mean, go ahead and try to "change the feelings" of most people towards Kristen Stewart once you try Twilight and know what really hating-a-face/voice/acting/EVERYTHING means.
The same thing happened to me with Imelda Staunton, after she played Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007). But in this case, her acting was so amazing that I hated the character so much, almost as much as the original character from the book. Then later, she appeared on Maleficent (2014) as a good fairy, but I just couldn't like her, no matter how hard I tried, I always ended up seeing Umbridge, lol.
I was also very disgusted the first time I saw Anne Hathaway's smile (which, with all due respect, looks extremely fake, ugly and particularly annoying to me) in 2006, and since then, no matter what movie she is in, I always hate to see her, so much.

Try watching Vera Drake(2004). It's probably not your cup of tea, but I've been watching Imelda Staunton since the '90s (Peter's Friends (1992)), and she just blew me away with her quiet intensity.

@sav: True. I wasn't crazy about her appearing in the first film. I felt like the movie could have done without females period. (And this is a female saying this btw) It was nice just watching the guys.
Also just a side note, remember WICKED brought her old memories back. Apparently she was doing good and was on the right side, but once they brought her old memories back, she was done for.
iheartentertainment @Matt: Didn't you watch the movie ? Just find it kind of strange that you are on a post in regards to a film that you are asking what happened
I watched and then i read the books
Well you seem to be against the movie but why it was good like the books
did you see the maze runner film and the book? Both were very good
@matt: Well you said : without giving away too much why was she done for when her memories came back
So if you read the books AND saw the movies, then you know what happened when Wicked brought her memories back.
Also that couldn't be father from the truth. I LOVE The Maze Runner films! Especially the first one. That was fantastic! The second one was good because it had more action.
I never read the books. I feel like after reading a book and seeing movies based on it, you will be in for a disappointment(s). So I don't read books based on movies.

I didnt read the death cure thats why I asked
In the scorch I remember the telepathy and she telling thomas dont come near me or I will kill you. In the end of the novel she was with them and they were all picked up by apparently someone that wasnt wicked then Thomas realizes its wicked again
I did parts of the Death Cure though
