Zombies? Really?


I saw most of the first one on HBO with the man-eating spider creatures, and it was so-so, and this one started out reasonably well with a pretty good sci-fi story line, and good sets and special effects, and then, for the last 3/4 of the movie it was the old, el-cheapo "run-through-abandoned-mall-and-abandoned-factory" being chased by, of all boring things, zombies. Stinko.

I wasn't a fan of the zombies, but if they are from the original source material. At least they are being faithful to the books, even if it does't translate for some viewers.

I said the same thing, "Oh brother...zombies." Then, I switched it off. What a lazy, tired plot device.

Agreed. I thought the first one had something interesting going with the maze. But they dropped that and added mindless zombie scenes

what a lazy writing to use zombies this has been seen before.
if maze runners 1 also had zombies I would find it ok.

but suddenly using zombies. come on. zombies are lame.
