Keeper

Keeper is a mix between a drama and a romantic movie. Mélanie and Maxime are two teenagers of 15 years and they fell in love few years ago.They were living in the happiness when, suddenly, bad news occur: the girl is pregnant. In addition to that, the boy would like to lead a career as keeper in a soccer team and he is not sure he’ll have enough time to take care of the baby but he doesn’t want to leave his girlfriend alone. And if the situation wasn’t difficult enough, their parents don’t even get well with each other. Which decision the couple will take? Are they going to keep their baby or will the girl abort? What will be the impact on their relationship?

Actually, I find the subject of the movie to be very interesting because the situation can happen every day and to everyone. There are a lot of films that speak about that but I reckon that the mix, on one hand, the pregnancy that happens by accident and, on the other hand, the boy’s story with his career insoccer gives more wealth in this feature-length film.

I used to dislike love story but, here, it was not the same because, despite the fact that some scenes were expected, it was a good job. Although I’m not very emotional, I felt a lot of different emotions through the whole film.The acting of the actors could be better but I believe that it does notaffect the rest of the film.

I’d recommendKeeper because it is entertaining, moving and teachesus a little bit more about a common problem.
