The Conjuring 2
So this is the same story byline, but radically different results. I don't remember the Warrens at all in this movie. Were they in the book? The Conjuring had them as the lead investigators, not Bill. Liked both films though.
shareI read Ed and Lorraine Warren had nothing to do with the case..they heard of the case and turned up one day to help out and were turned away...Conjurying 2 made a lot of it up.
shareI heard there was little they could do, because they couldn't find evidence, so they were there for a short amount of time.
Conjuring 2 had them saving the family, which isn't even close.
Conjuring 2 was clever. Yes, it did make many of it up but it has a clear distinction in it of when the reality ended and where the made up parts began. The end was most likely make up for cinematic purposes. However, once it is "proved" that Janet had faked the incident, they go home and this is probably what happened in reality without the turning around to save the family
