There were at least two Jurassic Park references that I noticed during the course of the film:
Hank tells Manny that "If you don't know Jurassic Park, you don't know *beep*
The actress Laura Dern, Ellie Satler in Jurassic Park, is also named by Hank.
My understanding is that they were present due to the similarities between both films i.e. bringing people/animals back from the dead.
Did anyone else come to the same conclusion?
There were so many more references! It was great haha... I thought maybe the 'if you don't know jurassic you don't know *beep* was a bit of a comment on how people idolise pop culture and see it as more important then actual personal issues. But I dunno, maybe I'm chattin *beep* and the Daniels fave movie just happens to be jurassic park! ?

They also hummed the Jurassic Park theme music
And in the slideshows that he was showing to hank .. you can see a TRex running after a car
