More than just cheap jokes...

Yes, I am actually defending farts and boners as something more than just quick vulgar jokes.
I feel like alot of people just automatically assume farts are cheap shoehorned jokes. Which sounds obvious of course, but as the movie progressed we'll see that they actaully have a real purpose, and a payoff. Yes the premise is really silly and ridiculous but in no way is it pointless.
You are stuck in a taboo "RIGHT or WRONG" mindset. It's what the movie is trying to tell you to break out of. Just let it go, let your mind be creative.
I understand that it is really hard to look at boners as a navigation tool or anything other than a cynical cheap joke. Especially when you are jaded by todays horrendous "comedy" movies standards. BUT I really do believe that things can be ridiculous but still have a valid purpose at the same time. This movie is a proof of that, and the sillyness elevates it to be something so much more than just another pretentious dull "self discovery" movie.
