Have completely lost all respect for Morgan Spurlock

The "documentary" uses lame old tropes and editing techniques to turn rats into horror movie monsters, in ridiculous ways in most instances. The blatant disrespect and disregard for the animals' lives was done for sensationalistic purposes to get people to watch and for no other reason. It is one thing when this is a done in a fictional horror film but to film the harming of animals for this purpose shows a complete lack of morality.

And that exterminator gleefully describing the "just to see it for myself" kind of torture that he does shows that he is a *beep* psychopath.

I am not saying that rat infestations are not a problem and extermination is often the only solution for the sake of public safety, but this film was just completely distasteful and disrespectful.

I watched up until the night vision murdering, I only kept interested because of how ridiculous the filming was. Humans are trash and so is this movie.

Agree with you completely. The exterminator and the bystanders at the Cheltenham terrier hunt were far more disgusting to me than any rat depicted in the film. Even worse than the parasite extracted from the dead rat too.

Yeah, of course the exterminator wouldn't also start cannibalising babies, if he were put in an artificial or other precise situation. I'd put money on it.

Nasty piece of work.

They were filming how people around the world deal with their rat problems. Filming or not, those rats are getting taken out like that everyday. So sack up and fight the power, nancies.

Why did you respect him before? SuperSize me was hardly any different. He force fed himself bad food for a month, in a manner no sane human, let alone McDonald's, would do. When it had a negative impact on his health, he blamed the company. It is akin to taking 10x the recommended dose of Tylenol and saying the company is at fault when you hit the hospital. But doing an actual, long term, scientifically valid study of the poor effects of fast food consumption wouldn't be as scary.

I really can not stand this modern generation of "documentary" filmmakers like Spurlock or Roger Moore who make sensationalistic crap that people accept as true and accurate because it is simply called a documentary.
