I was wondering......

The 3 of them rented that BIG house that looked like it was going to need some work done. Especially that busted shutter on the front of the house. But was there really enough furniture in the basement to furnish the whole house? Elliott & Sasha shared the attic bedroom which was huge and from the front of the house it looked like there were a lot of rooms in the house, but why did John look like he had a closet for a room tucked away in corner? And most of all.....How in the hell were they going to be able to afford that house in the first place??? No one worked...ever. Don't get me wrong, I really liked the movie despite these questions.

Not only could they not have been unable to afford the house with neither one of them appearing to have jobs, but some of the interiors of the rooms did not match with the layout of the exteriors either. John had, like, three windows in his bedroom, yet he's on the ground floor and outside his bedroom where the windows should be at are the walls to the dining room.

Same thing with Elliot and Sasha's room. When you come in through the front door, you go up the two flights of stairs in front of you, turn right, go down the hall, turn right and you should be in the room, which would lead to the back of the house. Yet, the housefire in the movie is shown from outside to appear to be coming from the front of the house rather than the back. The design of the room looks more like a room in an attic, and the windows where the computer desk is appears to lead outside, but when you take the time to scope out the interior vs exterior, those windows would just lead right back into the house and look out at nothing but back inside the house.
