I saw this at the Egyptian theater in Hollywood

Nicolas Refn and his wife Liv came to the Egyptian theater in Hollywood last year to do a Q&A in which Liv's documentary was shown on a double feature bill with Only God Forgives. Cliff Martinez was there too for the Q&A. This doc is incredible. I can tell you anyone who is a fan of Refn will not want to miss it. The movie goes into a lot of intimate detail behind the scenes, both on and off the set during the making of Only God Forgives. You see a lot about how the making of the film affected their relationship together as Refn had his wife and kids there with him in Thailand. You also see a lot of Refn's creative process and hear all his thoughts and worries about how the movie is coming along and what will happen when it is released as far as how people will react to it, etc. The doc is often times very funny as Nicolas Refn is such a singular and interesting personality, but it's also very moving as well.

Again, anyone who is a fan of Refn will love this, especially if you are an aspiring film maker. Also, all these people who come on here trashing the movie and have no idea what it contains or what it's really about should get a grip on themselves, shut up, and go make something of their own.

I guess that would be better than seeing it at the Hollywood Cinema in Egypt.
