Student film, terrible audio, bad acting, terrible pacing

I wouldn't have anything against that generally since this is obviously a very low budget production. But the audio is so bad that the movie is basically unwatchable. It's very boring as well. Cinematography is bad as well. Acting... I can't tell if it's the director or editor... or if the actors are just terrible. Someone is screaming in terror and nobody actually reacts to that. So 20min in and nothing is happ... oh wait...

OH MY GOD I'M SCARED OUT OF MY MIND!!!

Just kidding. Stay away.

concurred. Awful movie, no lake, no plot and truly terrible sound. Pointless and blatant rip off of a dozen far superior horrors.

Yeah, it's getting easier and easier to spot the fake reviews on here. Click on the user profile who gave it a positive review and you'll see that they actually reviewed some other titles (you little *beep* heads are getting pretty clever btw) but if you look carefully, you'll notice that all the positive reviewers have reviewed ALL THE SAME MOVIES. These reviews are done by people who had a hand in the production of this (as per usual). I'm not even gonna bother wasting my time re-watching this. I can't even say "re-watch", because I fell asleep to it and I don't really remember anything about it. I have these vague flashes of it that invaded my subconscious as I tried to sleep, and I think I remember it being really stupid. I'm gonna watch Chillerama instead. So chuck you, Lake Fear!!! Or "Cypress Creek"... Whatever the hell its called. Poofters

Actually you seem to miss reading the entire film. It is ment to be a comedy / horror with the generic spoof like setup and atmosphere . Hence the under acting and the 100 plus homages to other horror films. This was not meant to be a substantial film with a budget lower then the price to install a toilet . It was made for the horror fans who like to point out other films during it and have fun watching a film that is clearly not taking itself to seriously . Examples ( the music video of gore in the middle of the film , and the dance number ) also you can't forget dumb lines like "that was my favorite sleeve . Blood sprays into his face for way longer then necessary. It's all jokes . The film makers thought it was very apparent but apparently it was not
