Lame ending (spoiler)

Samurai is feared and respected by criminals and politicians alike. Ruthless and efficient, and a step ahead of all. Coolly wipes out all who came in way of the grand plan. Yet a junky girl, barely capable of functioning in the end, manages to track and gun him down in the open streets! Nice way to tie-up the movie, which btw was very good, but not very believable.

Yeah because he assumed the junkie would be scared of him like everyone else. He was wrong. It was a great ending.

I enjoyed the ending, and shows that no one, not even the man at the very end of the food chain, is untouchable.

Yes, Samurai is a stone-cold mofo, but he's just one man, and she had a gun and could pull a trigger, and that was that.

When darkness overcomes the heart, Lil' Slugger appears...

reply

Exactly. No one is invincible and are often brought down by very unlikely characters, just like Manfredi got brought down by Sebastiono. What great poetic justice that he got fed to his own dog!!

reply

They all feel invincible because they think their reputation protects them.
It proved that crime doesn't pay. Whoever joins the mob is gonna get whacked eventually, either by your opponents or by your "friends."
