Did he finally go see his son? This ending was too abrupt! So many loose ends! Isobel's mother didn't get to speak about her side, then Isobel's finance's family did they find out the way she got pregnant? Did Isobel's finance's brother live?

How come she didn't keep her job at the school? The Police department sure was sloppy.

This movie was terrible! 2 parts don't always make a whole. 

Yes, agreed, they left a great deal left hanging at the end. If it makes you feel any better, I've seen the director's cut of Daughter of God and while it doesn't clear any of the issues up, the artistic style means it matter less - if that makes any sense. Lol.

I am able to answer one of your questions, though! Isabel couldn't keep her job at the school / day care because it's run by her in-laws. When they exiled her from their lives, it included professionally as well as personally.

Thanks for replying! I must have missed the part about Isobel's in-laws running the

day care trying to make sense of the movie at first and reading the subtitles!

That was the most incoherent, self-indulgent "review" I've ever seen.
