The lack of Alyson Court is very disturbing!

Been reading many outcrys across the galaxy and only for Capcom to remain silent on the subject.

We'll get confirmation one way or the other next week at TGS (Tokyo Game Show). There will be live gameplay and many interviews. Also, Alyson Court said that she'll be "in touch" with the resident evil fan community soon. I'd bet she's working on the game and just can't talk about it until TGS. NDA's can be finicky like that.

Okay next week it will be said.

Well its not Alyson. It sounds like the voice actress who did Helena. Honestly, I'm sad but I'm not majorly upset. Claire was a teenager and in her twenties during those events. It would make sense she'd grow up and her voice would change. It would've been great to have Alyson back that's like saying it would've been great to have the original Leon, Chris, Jill, Ada and Wesker back. But that's never gonna happen and considering Capcom do their voice work somewhere else now it would've been impossible for Alyson to take part in it. No reason to hate on something just because something you liked isn't there.

Alyson Court is 40 years of age that is perfect. If a 58 year old Kevin Conroy can still voice 35 year old Bruce Wayne in Arkham Knight shows Rocksteady & Warner Bros have way more respect for there voice talents. Michael Ironside was the perfect voice for old man Sam Fisher but Ubi Soft just had to deage Sam didn't they for the recent one.

Tim Daly came back to voice Superman after a long absence in his fifties same as Conroy he was still good. David Hayter is the only voice for Solid Snake no matter his age or what he said during making of MGS4. Keeley Hawes came back to voice Lara Croft for the Temple of Osirisas of 38 years of age. Michael Biehn & Lance Henriksen came back to voice there youthful selfs for Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Age shouldn't be a factor among the experience talents you have.

I love David Hayter but after listening to his voice properly in Peace Walker and then the MGS1 Graphic Novel I realized how badly he sucked. He's old cool voice was gone and it was obvious why Kojima replaced him. I've warmed up to Keifer. He's really not that bad. I just wish they'd brought David back for Ground Zeroes since it only took place a few weeks after Peace Walker in order to keep the continuity in check.

Kevin Conroy is a douche who uses the same voice over and over again and never learned to try a different style for different times. The guy has the nerve to insult christian bale for his batman voice but I never saw him make the suggestion of changing his voice as Batman and Bruce consdering they sound the f..king same and in Batman Beyond even as a old f..king guy he still sounded the same without any added improvements to suggest old age.

Michael Ironside is one of the many reasons Blacklist sucked. That and Blacklist itself was a *beep* game. But 1) Ironside was replaced because the creators wanted someone they could do move facial and motion capture on, same reason Hayter was replaced and Ironside was old and wouldn't be able to do stunts and s..t and 2) Ironside actually quit because he didn't like the direction the series was going into.

As for Claire, as already mentioned, Capcom has replaced all the other voice actors. And they moved their recording studio to another country. Alyson coming back was doubtful from the very beginning. When she made that little joke thing about being replaced a few months back it was a obvious hint that she wasn't coming back.

I knew Michael Ironside had a problem with the series. Ubi Soft blew it when they didn't fellow the PS2/Xbox Double Agent storyline. Conviction was changed completely. I still watch that old gameplay video with Sam walking around Washington trying to blend in with the crowd. Sam was on the run vowing revenge for Enrica on Director Williams but damn we didn't get it.

Actually, I think the PSP game was a sort of sequel to that version of double agent because at the end Sam got the evidence from Williams office with the help of Grim and Redding and cleared his name.

Yeah aware of the PSP title miss out on it. Sam wouldn't be wearing a hoodie avoiding cops now would he? If it just ended with Sam taking evidence thats kinda anti-climactic after that epic phone call. Splinter Cell better on the big screen was looking so promising well its not 2006 no more.

Not all voice actors are able to keep up with their old roles, just because Conroy, Ironside and anyone else can, doesn't mean Court can do the same.

And no, David Hayter will only be Solid Snake for as long as Konami pays him for it, if they no longer want him then they have no obligation to keep casting him just to please the small amount of the fanbase who would boycott the game (or say they would but I know damn well they'd end up buying it anyway) when it happens.

Hell quite a few people said that Hayter is the only voice for pre-Outer Heaven Big Boss, see how that turned out? Not that it's a bad thing really, Hayter was terrible in Peace Walker and it never made sense for Big Boss and Solid Snake to have the same voice "Cuz clones lol." when Liquid and Solidus don't when both of them are also clones of Big Boss, and Hayter never belonged in the role to begin with, he was a good Solid Snake, but he was a terrible Big Boss and his Snake voice has been dropping in quality ever since 3, hell even in the first game he wasn't all that great compared to all the other cast members, it was about time they let him go.

Besides, considering all the childish shots he's fired at Konami, Kojima and Sutherland, he'd be lucky if they even considered hiring him again at all, biting the hand that signs your pay checks is never a smart thing to do.
