have you guys heard about an american remake in the works, but starring 2 men instead?

apparently ang lee has signed on to direct!

This is already a remake (or reimagining) of a British novel and subsequent BBC miniseries entitled "Fingersmith."

Hollywood will just tone and probly dumb it down just like they did with Oldboy and Girl with the dragon tattoo temake

Actually girl with the dragon tattoo was far from dumbed down. Just sorry they didnt make more

Agree with you @icydayz about Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I avoided watching the American version for a long time because I loved the original series so much and am not always in love with David Fincher's work, but I was not at all disappointed.
