Duh....Powers aren't lost during a solar eclipse

What morons write this trash? It's been explained again and again that Superman's cells store the energy from the yellow sun. His powers remain for an extended time outside of its rays. This is how he flies through space, etc. And the fact that Supergirl became immediately powerless is so idiotic that you may as well say she loses her powers every night. These writers are undeserving of the jobs they hold.

Sadly, there were decades of precedent for this in the silver Age. Superman or Supergirl would end up through plot contrivance on a world with a yellow sun and BAM! powers are gone. Then they'd go back to Earth and BAM! they were back. No discharge/recharge time. And yes, that made the whole "How do they fly to other worlds when there's minimal/no yellow solar radiation to keep them going?" thing as pervasive as the "wait...he has a Kryptonian dog that looks JUST like an Earth dog?" and "Lois is a reporter! how can she not tell the guy she loves and her co-worker are the same person?" during those days.....

Just be glad they haven't had her fall in love with her super horse that sometimes transforms into a man.......yet.

There are numerous similar stupid illogical things or inconsistencies in pretty much every episode and on top of that the power scale of Supergirl with relevance to other heroes/villains or just general power level changes also from moment to moment.

I dont think the creators are fans of the genre(or are very dumb...which is more likely since Supergirl uses her powers in fights usually in the most idiotic nontactical manner) or havent done any research whatsoever.
Im amazed how someone so incredibly unprofessional manages to get a job like this and be responsible for so much budget money. Baffling to me.
