Great casting for Episode 306 "Midvale"

I hate when there are episodes of shows where the younger versions of an actor or actress look nothing like the older. In this case, though, the casting was perfect.

Izabela Vidovic - Young Kara
Olivia Nikkanen - Young Alex

Izabela, playing young Kara looked a lot like a young Melissa Benoist, while Olivia, playing young Alex, even seemed to mimic some of Chyler Leigh's facial expressions.

The young girls similarity to their older counterparts as much as their good acting made the retro episode work really well. I can't say I'd like to see more of the same, but if they do more, I hope they can use the same actresses.
