I'm surprised the Doctor's wife was such an Innocent!

The scene between the Doctor's wife and the FURIOUS wife of the Wing Commander was quite something.
And I think it was a little unrealistic.

Even though the Doctor's wife is in total denial about her 2 grown daughters and their sexual "adventures", she is still a Doctor's wife/secretary, and has surely seen everything imaginable come through the Surgery, and can handle the facts, once shouted at her by the angry wife, in a commonsense manner.

There is a time for polite denial, but there is a time for having a "sit-down" in the parlor with this stranger and talking turkey, instead of fluttering and simpering that "nothing happened".

Well, she was taken off guard and was in shock. She also wanted to protect her daughter.
