Watched it

As expected the same feminist plot. Overall pretty average.

reply

Yeah, a little drawn-out for my taste.

I thought the acting was good, though some motivations were cloudy.

Locations and sets were believable and effective. Very oppressive and Russia-looking. The guards, too.

"Mistress Brixil" can punish me any time!

:D

reply

How is the plot ‘feminist’?

reply

It wasn't. That was a stupid comment.

reply

I don't think so and I hate feminazi movies.

If anything, it shows how far women would go for vanity. That evil old woman knew her "donor" would be killed and to make her even more awful, she was a coward and wouldn't stick around for the "negotiations".

reply

It's about objectification of women's looks

reply

Naw.

reply

Female looks becomes a commodity and it harms women. What don't you get it?

reply

And the women foster this.

reply

Because it's her husbands fault. Otherwise he'd leave her for younger woman

reply

Horse. Shit.

reply

No it's not. Doctor idealized women from old movies.

reply

The women voluntarily participated. Women are vain. Fact.

reply

It was good.

reply

Fact. The young girls who were kept prisoner did not voluntarily participate in this. They were all prisoners. Or did you just completely forgot that?

reply

I don't see this as a feminist plot. That's stupid. This story was about the harvesting of young girls for the cosmetic surgery market by an unscrupulous doctor. This could be a theme involving human trafficking. And maybe these girls were.
