Emma Watson's movie Colonia made a whooping $61! HILARIOUS!

That's 61 dollars, not 61 million dollars. How embarrassing is that?

Anyway, I blame it on her man-hating and on her anti-western culture views. People got sick of her.

I find her vile. Good riddance.

reply

Good riddance to your common sense its out on bluray and demand and the company that bought the distribution rights in the UK effectively did so soley for video on demand and screened it on a technicality. its been released since last year and grossed 2.5 million.

its a foreign indie film, its a german, french and Luxembourg production. Emma's next film is leading a Tom Hanks technothriller and singing in Beauty and the Beast.

tldr you dont know anything about the film industry this wasnt even british

Also Emma is classy and chill unlike you, she said feminism is too often seen as man hating, chill your dick.

reply

Thank you. Same here.

2.5 million return on 14 million budget.
Big success.

Breitbart is as accurate with their movie knowledge as they are with their politics.

reply

I can't take someone serious who takes Breitbart as a source.

reply

Better than Vox, Huffington Post and CNN!

reply

Man, you got that right. Breibart is news for people who aren't sophisticated enough to grasp Fox News.

LOL! How true!

reply

If you read the actual article you find that you find that the film only opened in three threatres and that is was available online by video streaming. Unfortunately, we don't have any info on how much was made on subsequent nights, nor do we have info how much money was on video streaming.

reply

Good to know about her! I'll be sure NEVER to see anything she's in...EVER!

reply

Thanks for making me research her speeches. She's a brilliant spokeswoman, and I'm even more of a fan now.

Breitbart (more like Breitfart) is a piece of sh!t that needs to stop blaming politics all the goddamn time on why a film doesn't do well in theaters. There are a VARIETY of reasons.

nickb-13 box office numbers don't always speak to how good a film is. The latest Star Wars film did well at the box office and was a total load of ****. In regards to Emma Watson or any actor or actress I am glad I go into any movie I watch looking for the story and not focusing on what the actor or actress does. Stop going into movies judging the people in it before they have done anything and give movies a chance. Oh and as for your opinions on her political stances and so on she didn't show any man hating in this film and as for her hating on western culture I give her a thumbs up for that. If you think we are doing things right you need to take a closer look at the world and where you live.

reply

I completely agree.
I can't understand why some people hate her for her political and social stance. Apparently it's bad now to advocate for equality and justice?
