English subtitles need fixing??

I enjoyed the first episode: smart, sexy, couple of twists...however the English subtitles are either not present at times or on a significant delay and then sped up making it difficult to comprehend as I am watching with French audio. Has anyone else experienced similar?

It could be your internet connection.

I watch with French audio and English subtitles as well, and it's fine.

Same I had no problems here so far.

Unfortunately, here in New Zealand the "French" version does not work but automatically snaps into the English version. I'd much rather watch it in French as the US voices, inflections etc make it sound like a low-rate Amercian soap...:-(

I just finished the series, and the French subs are word-for-word while the English subs are really pretty good. I was greatly impressed by the French subs because by switching them on, I could check a word that I could not catch, or learn a new slang word. Although I live in Cannes, accents vary so much that sometimes I cannot understand. Try switching from English to another language and and then back to see if that kick starts the English subs. They are there. Good luck. Also, I did not use it, but I see that there is an option of English audio, too. I detest dubbed movies but as a last resort you might want to try that.

I watched the series with a friend who insisted we watch the version with the English dubbing. It was just awful. While they did a great job in matching the lip movement, the acting quality of the American actors who did the dubbing was like a bad Saturday Night Live skit.
