Seriously. The uptight guy in a suit and the laid back slob. This is the Chris Farley/David Spade comedies Tommy Boy and Black Sheep. It seems like een indie films are now resorting to copying plots from other movies.ðŸ˜
It's actually pretty much a What About Bob clone. I just saw it last night at a theater in Klamath Falls, OR. The film was shot in and around Klamath Falls and I knew quite a few people who worked on it and last night was a special screening put on by the local film collective so I figured, "What the hell? Could be fun." I had basically no expectations and between that and knowing all the locations I actually thought the film was kind of fun, but MAN was it derivative of What About Bob. I mean it seriously hits just about ever major What About Bob plot point right up until the ending of the film where it becomes much happier. I actually had my girlfriend watch What About Bob with me immediately after the film just so that she'd know what the hell I was going on about.
This is nothing like 'What About Bob', I don't even see how you can make the connection. A severely mentally disturbed man with clear boundary issues inserts himself into the family of his psychologist completely uninvited resulting in bizarre and awkward situations. Exactly what part of that is similar to 'Brother Nature'?
