Interesting movie (catch it on Netflix now)
Some neat stuff here for the linguistically-inclined and sociopolitically conscious viewer. I guess the biggest question I have is: why do nearly all gay men talk like that? My theory is that it is primarily "peacocking" behavior of the sort seen all over the animal kingdom meant to advertise their sexual preference/availability to potential mates. I'm a straight man but I would never in a million years try to sound "manlier" to pick up chicks, even if it worked.
