I wanted to see this and the local theater showed it for ONE WEEK. Pete's Dragon showed for a few months. It showed just for ONE WEEK then ALL of the theaters stopped showing it even the local "bargain" theater that shows movies rejected by other theaters. Was it really that bad?

I came here to say the same thing. I was out of town when it was shown (Sept 2 I think) and now I am back and it is gone!!!!

No, it was great. Just unusual. The American masses just elected a moron for president. They can't sit through a movie that challenges two brain cells.
