it's not about a twist or whodunnit

it's about why and how impact of her actions on those around her including the doctor

I had it figured out as soon as I saw her unreasonable reaction when she learned that Louis and Peter ran into Peter's ex-wife. Like the other poster stated, its is not a mystery as much as how easily people are effected and changed by beauty, regardless of motive or intent.

Congratulations, young sir!

Like classic tragedy or drama the outcome was pretty clear. The dad seemed too stable and the wife clearly not. But art is about how to communicate things or ideas in a different way. I especially loved the part about the father choosing the crying bat, and the reason why she was always crying. Because it made people feel sorry... for her. And she liked that feeling more than she like jokes... or love.

Though the movie almost made me nauseous in the beginning with the overly sweet tone. But the story is quite good.
