'Its always open'

Why is this a thing in season 2? Is it a nod to the original or something? Did I miss something?

I was just googling that. The closest explanation I can find is a theory that it's a reference to them having said the door is always open to the Olsen twins. Other than that, granted I only skimmed a couple links, can't find an explanation. Seems incredibly reckless to go around announcing to any random stranger that their door is always open.

It's a San Fransisco thing. They all put their heads between their legs and sniff up all their own farts. They are a weird bunch of people.

Maybe it's tribute to her mom whom she was told by her uncles off screen all of the time in Full House that her moms nickname was 7-11 because just like a 7-11 her mom was open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and free to the public.

It's only natural to inherit her mothers traits.

I thought it was just a meta joke. Like how on tv, characters just always walk in and out of each other's houses all the time without even knocking usually.

^ That was my theory too. Its a sitcom joke in general.

I don't know but it's friggin' annoying!

I know it's just a TV show but it bothers me because you don't know who's on the other side of the door and to have a house full of women advertising that it's always open seems like a bad idea.
