Struck me as pretty horrible (possible spoilers, though this is a doc)

I'll probably get a lot of negative comments for this, but this "documentary" sucks.

Here is what is really a charity case for super-rich celebrities ... that is what we are talking about.

No, I don't blame "Tig", but this is not really what it is billed to be.

Starts out where this isolated kind of weird boy-girl comedian who is not really very funny
talks about having cancer. OK, she has me there, because any of us or the people we care
about might get cancer, so I can relate and want to know more ... plus who doesn't feel sorry
for someone like that.

The problem is that movies are all about manipulating the emotions, and this was a movie.

So, Tig has a lot of rotten things happen to her, while I guess all her friends are doing
really great. her friends like Louis C. K., Sara Silverman, Jake Galifinack-=whatever,
Ed Helms ... lots of famous comedians who just happened to be at her last, or what
she thought would be last show.

First ... she has breast cancer, so the information on that is pretty good, if caught in
time, not like liver, pancreatic, all those internal cancers. There is no talk about the
statistics or what she is really facing, the documentary is all gone kind of dramatically.

I don't know ... I definitely feel bad for her and she has gone through rotten things, but
her "friends" are there for her, or seem to be ... because on screen at least it makes them
look really nice and caring ... but then they get on stage and make nasty fun of people
caring and show how awful people are. I don't know, this just rubbed me the wrong
way. As the movie went on I just started to care less and less about the people in it,
and their travails ... because these guys are all the 1%, or very close to it. and the
movie become like all about how nice and caring these celebrities are when we know
the number one thing about Hollywood, and really this country these days is how to
project a fake superficial front.

No, didn't like it, thinking of spending much much less money that I know goes to
these people. I do wish Tig well, who knows maybe she can actually bring some
senstivity and do something real in the media ... but I sort of doubt it.
