I genuinely thought this movie was really good! It was funny and was more about the whole coming out process with a guy and his straight guy friends. I found it very relatable, seeing as I have a lot of straight guy friends.
I also loved that movie wasn't about the guy contemplating suicide or about drugs or all about sex. It was sooooo refreshing just seeing a movie about a normal guy, who happens to be gay.

Agreed! It was hilarious and adorable! Very refreshing story. Reminded me a bit of 'Trick', or the hilarious gay film from Taiwan, "Formula 17". The second one especially, since it's about a gay guy and his friends.

I love that the story was built on the premise of someone coming out, but it played out as many other movies that are just about friendship. It touched on topics that resonate (e.g. "does my gay friend want to sleep with me") maturely and honestly.

Finally a genuinely funny, respectfull, feel-good movie about a gay guy. Loved the well-intended jokes, the recognizable story, the overall good vibes of the movie.
Totally agree that it is refreshing to see a gay rom-com movie that is not centered around pitifull drama or sex.

This is loads better than other movies out there. Good acting, dialogue, directing. Great humor! Truely unique and suprising.
shareI thought it was really good too. I'm not gay and don't really watch gay themed movies much but I found this just a very enjoyable film. Made me laugh out loud quite a few times. Will probably watch it again in the not too distant future.
