Should win an award for the most useless character (the mom) in a horror film. "Sacrifices" herself because...what? Too stupid to think of some other plan? And even that failed.

If you set out to make a character unlikable so they can redeem themselves in the story later- make sure they DO redeem themselves and not just bite the big one because they're an idiot.

Cry cry whimper scream at the daughter cry cry whimper whimper.

Yawn.

Waste of time.

Agreed! So much of the whimpering and crying seemed like filler scenes to add length to the film. *yawn*

This is one of the worst horror/monster movies I've ever seen, and I've seen some bad ones.

Oh man this is spot on. I almost couldn't watch it. Squealing and whimpering probably took up 50% of the movie.
That coupled with the slow, drawn out piano track was torture.
