Did I hear right?

I believe it was episode 3 (repeat early morning on 31 Jan) but could be wrong. without DVR I can't be certain but I believe there was the brunette teacher angry about something and it came through as "...mother beep beep" followed be the word that is presumed to be under the "beep beep". Might the sound editor have erred or did I hear it incorrectly? P.S. Yes, this is a pretty bad show.

reply

I have only watched the first two episodes so far.
I don't know which swear words you are talking about because
You said beep beep instead of the actual word .

Can you tying the first and last letter of the words?

reply

To clarify: A censor was trying to cover up the word *beep* but it sounded to me as if the beep was merely INSERTED in the middle of the word so that it seemed to be "...mother beep beep *beep*

reply

It looks like this board gets pretty heavily edited so it takes out even the partial words. That leaves no way to further clarify.

reply

Put an accent mark over one of the vowels in each word and it won't censor it.

Are you trying to say "mother fĂșcker?"

reply

Yes. Now, I gotta say that is one f-ed up censor program.

reply

Why does it matter? The show is for adults, and we all know the words. This bleeping out of words is so childish. In Europe, (I lived in England for several years) the don't bleep out words. The censors put certain shows on after the "watershed" (a time when they know adults will be watching shows) and they don't cut out words that everyone uses. I am an American from NYC, but the US censors are so prudish.

reply

I agree with BrainGirl78, how about just don't let your kids watch adult shows? Kinda like how dumb parents took their kids to see 'Deadpool' because they're too stupid to pay attention to the R-rating.

reply

I agree about putting it on later at night, but I just heard a commercial before 6 PM during the Andy Griffith show, talking about "d*ck pics." Seriously Tv land??? Maybe they need to think a little bit about where they're running the commercials.

reply

Do you have OnDemand? If you have TBS, you should have TBS ONDemand. watch it and pause and rewind as much as you want. I'd check for you, but I just watched all the episodes yesterday, and it's really not that important anyway.

I think it's hilarious - you should stick with Big Bang, which has one mild chuckle about every 6 episodes (I gave up after one season but I'll watch Teachers as long as they show it)

My only regret in life is that I'm not someone else - Woody Allen

reply

To each his own.....

....Big Bang is #1 and has won numerous awards given by both people in the industry and the viewing public. It obviously is doing something right that is not appealing to you.

I find Teachers to be a nice show. Big Bang Theory is classic comedy television.

reply

THANK YOU! i think this show is hilarious and i can't believe the prudes that are here crying "outraged"! and i HATE big bang. it's the unfunnniest sitcom ever. you can predict what passes for a joke on that show, from a mile away. sometimes i expect to hear a rim shot. i swear. some of these comments are beyond ridiculous. because it's called "teachers" it should be kid friendly? really? you're my hero today. lmao
