Just finished this series and loved every minute of it. I loved both Kate Del Castillo and Alberto Jimenez in La Reina del Sur so I couldn't pass this one up. It was so good, don't listen to the negative reviews - La Reina and this series got me hooked on cartel Spanish series on Netflix. I always stayed away from drug trafficking, cartel shows and never thought I would like them, but those two series got me interested.
shareFrom the first bit of dialogue and the attack on the party where the stood shooting unarmed guests and waiters whilst ignoring the body guards shooting at them marked it as a true classic. The opening where she was under water trying to get the rope off her wrists when all she had to do was float to the top also helped set the scene. Truly magnificent drama as was the bad guy who had just been sprayed with machine gun fire in front of a plane shouting 'I'm still here' or words to that effect totally un-harmed by the worst set of shooters on planet earth. I can't wait to see what happens next. ?
