Was the original pilot “hard R”?

That’s what they said on a podcast about the show, and I was surprised by that and didn’t remember it that way. I did watch it originally as a pilot before they ordered the series, but had not seen the first episode since then. I re-watched it just now and there is some brief nudity when kids are skinny dipping and that’s it.

Did they change the first episode from when they made the pilot to when they made the rest of the first season and put it back on Amazon? Or did that podcaster either remember wrong or have a strange definition of “hard R” that is closer to PG-13 in my view?
